Cultural Impacts
The Gorka earthquake also destroyed many cultural features. This was probably worst in Historic districts
of Kathmandu. Some of the buildings and cultural features that have been
destroyed include the Kasthamandap, Maju Dega and Narayan Vishnu Temples,
Trailokya Mohan, Krishna, Old Drums and Kaeshwar Temple.

this
temple was completely destroyed in the earthquake and was the temple that gave
Kathmandu its name there was also a plaque inside it which was from 1048 making
this one of the oldest buildings in Nepal .

Maju Dega and Narayan Vishnu Temples
these temples used to be buildings that really stood out in were
significant buildings in Durbar square, a very historic district within
Kathmandu.

Krishna
this temple was a very famous temple as it was built by the
king called King Pratap Malla. This
temple was quite unusual because of its hexagon shape.
